Baba Yaga Kheglen (Rug)
60cm x 102cm (plus fringe)
A fireside rug in softest Tibetan Yak and gilded Indian Muga Silk fibres, blended with British rare breed wools on a nettle-wool warp.
Baba Yaga lives in a magical hut out in the wild forest, far away from other people… always moving and creating. Some historians of folklore think she may be the Siberian Sun Goddess Kheglen in deep disguise, but most hear of her as the archetypal and contrary Witch, being nether entirely good nor bad; she integrates and occupies a position of medicine as a wise and excellent teacher.
I can recommend a suitable felt base for uses as a floor rug, please let me know your intended use.
This rug has been twice wet-finished to fully reach its final proportions, and can safely be cold wet finished again in the future.

A special note to my European / International Clients
(Please email me direct at email@example.com for shipping queries outside the UK as it is currently taking 3-4 weeks to ship to Europe for example, and importantly, *you will be charged import customs* on newly purchased goods which can add a significant % to the final costs, this is because of Brexit, my apologies.)
